Hi there! So this is my first ever thread post on here so please go easy on me! Ironically enough, to go along with my first ever thread post comes the thing that caused me to sign up after all, my first ever custom content piece! you see, I had just gotten the mesh done last night and have been having some real troubles figuring out the UV's for the thing as nothing I do seems to be working. All I wanted to do was bake a texture so I could use in photoshop! Not wind up with a headache and many "Why am I even doing this?" moments! If anyone could please help out with this, please do cause I'm about ready to throw in the towel on this one. Here's a screenshot of the mesh so-far prntscr.com/j9rnlq

Hey Mika, sorry you are feeling frustrated. It can be overwhelming when it comes to learning to make cc, I'm learning too. As for your item, it sounds like you need to UV unwrap your mesh first, so that you can then bake something on an image as a base to use in Photoshop. I'm not familiar with how to do this with a furred or hairy item but I found this tutorial helpful to learn the basics of UV unwrapping:
Maybe look at some sims hair mesh unwrapping tutorials after that. Good luck! Don't give up!
P.S if you link your blend file here someone experienced will likely have a look at it and can give you more specific direction.
