Hi,
Recently got back into content creation and resumed work on my custom paintings, only the game is now trying to treat my paintings (that worked perfectly before) as swatches for the item that they were originally cloned from as opposed to a seperate object.
I know that I can do everything from scratch as selective clones but this will take a great deal of time.
Is there anyway to fix the package files so that they are treated as seperate objects again?

It sounds as if you've made a default override and added swatches to it instead of making a standalone clone. If you're using the selective clone feature, be sure there is a check mark in the Renumber box under the Numbering header. If that box isn't checked when you make a selective clone, you will end up with a default replacement.

I had choosen standalone recolor however, and all the objects I created using the stand alone recolor option worked as I had intended as standalone objects until recently. Now all the items that were standalone before have merged into the original item without any edit on my part. Is there a way to renumber the packages without recreating them from scratch?

You should be able to add the affected packages to the STUDIO mods folder and then make selective clones of them. In the selective clone options window you will want to have everything checkd AND the "renumber" option ticked. That way you shouldn't need to do anything else except save your package and give it a name before testing in game.
