Hi! Thanks for the freeware!
I was wondering which file do I need to clone in S4S to make a custom face mask. The thing I tried was cloning a 'Head' (from a bunch of files I chose -yfHead base game and ignored the yfHead_Mannequin).
I made the mask using Photoshop, editing the female template (made a custom face texture and changed the color of the body to match the face mask). Tried importing it as a png file and as a dds one too in S4S. Found a few issues in game. With the png imported texture (saved as .package to use it in game) I couldn't find the texture anywhere in CAS, but it'd show up immediately when making a yf/ adult sim for the first time. The problem is that the sim would keep the default underwear from the female template no matter what (as if it was stuck with it). Think that could be because the whole skin was being sort of replaced. Like changes to muscles or fatness to the sim wouldnt affect the skin details, although it would affect it physically (I was still being able to make the sim's body fat or worked out, just the skin texture or details like muscles and such wouldn't show up, if it makes sense).
Now with the .dds file imported and saved as .package, it just didnt show up at all in CAS. It does show up in S4S, though.
I need the face mask and the 'recolored' body from the template to be a texture without affecting the sim's skin details and clothes in CAS in game. I'm sure I'm missing something. If someone can help, that would be great!
Is it even possible to make custom face masks with S4S? Or do i need another software to do that? I've seen others use TSR.
Thanks in advance!
