Heya sorry to bother everyone, I'm working on combining a bunch of incompatible hats for my sim using custom content from NotEgain, Valhallansims and Habsims, However I've reached up to part 28 of this tutorial and I seem to get stuck, Not only is my UV map much bigger and cant be scaled down, but I'm using gimp instead of photoshop? I'm so confused as to what I'm suppose to do now, I have the mesh and texture fully ingame but they look pretty bad compared to the originals, and I can see through some of the vertices I adjusted? Is there any way to edit the bump/RLE/Glow from the original mods and combine them into my jury rigged hair?

Also, for my next project directly after this hair, I was wondering how to set the alien arm glow? Was looking to fix up this piece of lost CC :c Privately ofcourse..

The alien glow works by using the emission map. This tutorial explains all about it. > sims4studio.com/thread/2544/get-emission-mapThe very first part about adding an emission map is a little redundant now as there is an emission map section on the textures tab. Just import the one you create there.
