im combining these two hairs, they look great! other than,uv mapping has me stuck. I fixed the weights and removed doubles. I'm also having a issue combining the mesh into one. I'm on mac creating an alpha hair.

Hi! I'm not very knowledgeable with alpha hairs, but first you need to delete to rig.001 copy. Then you have two meshgroups with the same cut number. So check the original hairs to see which ones you should be joining. You can't import this blend, since only one meshgroup will update.
About the texture... I see that everything is mapped... what exactly is the issue? Care to explain a little more?

The issue is, it is two hairs combined, so the textures are different. How do i lay down a texture onto the hair.
