I think I'm going crazy just tying to figure this out. So, I spent like an hour making an image in Photoshop (which I love editing so didn't bother me) to use as a custom back ground in CAS. I didn't know how to make a custom background into a mod so of course I turned to youtube, great lots of tutorials on how to make one... whats not great however is when I do what they do but so it fits my image it fails... it's all stretched out and ugly. So I then did exactly what they did but it just seemed to make it worse! I'll attach who images, one of the ones I created and then another of the monster it turns into when trying to make it into a CAS background. What am I doing wrong! Scribbles so it cannot be stole until I get it right. imgur.com/lx0rfQuand now the monster imgur.com/K1QyDD9Thank you in advance for the help!

I'm not sure i'm understanding... are you importing that image you shared? You need to export the image that is on the template cas package, open it on your image editor and fit the background you want into that texture following the guide the person did for you. Also, it's very important to keep the resolution. Your image is much bigger, different resolution and it isn't multiple of 2 that is what the game reads.

Here a link to see what it's like when I cut it in two imgur.com/RbHGLKDThe package I sent you was just one test, I know it has to be in two but still it doesn't work. I'll link you the package what it's like when It's in two www.dropbox.com/s/xpvwh8pyizbinit/Neon%20Cry%20Baby%20CAS%20Background.package?dl=0it's still not right, I've scaled it down to fit like the tutorial said, I've cut it in two, I've never tried making it smaller on the template so it isn't stretched out, nothings working

Hey, I know this is a bit old, but can you (or anyone else) tell me what do you mean by "multiple of 2"? Two what exactly? Sorry if it's a silly or stupid question, but trying to create a CAS background is so far the hardest thing I've tried to do, I am completely lost. Thanks in advance!

I assume its the texture size talked about. Like 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024. In this case it‘s 1024x1024.
