Recently whenever I zoom out of my game, there are black and white outer squares. You cannot see anything through them. The best way I can describe it would be like massive walls, cutting through builds. Here are some screenshots: So I had managed to fix this back when I initially posted this, but I seem to be encountering it again for certain lots. I also cannot for the love of me remember what I did. Also, don't know if its related, but my gallery seems to be broke. Cannot save things to my library and upload them to the community, and the lot dimitions are set on 999x999 along with the price, 999,999,999. I cant select how many beds or bathrooms either. Can anyone help?

yes, thanks! daaaang.. I've never in my life seen this glitch. do you use mods? move your mods folder to the desktop and load the game vanilla. if it's still there, back up your saves, tray and screenshots. then right click the game in origin and repair it

I've never seen this either. I'd do like inabadromance says, if it's still there after the repair and putting the mods back in, maybe try taking everything out again, clearing the cache, checking it and putting it back in... if it's still there, maybe check the most recent mods or tray files you've downloaded and try removing them. It could be a broken mod or a corrupted tray file like the animals that have no fur patterns glitchy thing.

Looks like a struggling graphic card. Try lowering the settings.

Hi, long years ago I faced an (apparently) similar issue in Sims 3. Finally (after days and months) I discovered that the issue was caused by a harddrive failure. When the game was not running, everything was fine, but when I launched the game I could play ten minutes , then I got weird things like yours and finally the game crashed. Your thread reminds me of this problem and I decided to share my experience with you, just in case... But there are many possible causes for your issue. Something in your game: Corrupted cc or conflicting mods... or a hardware issue... I know that such a glitch is very annoying and frustrating and I hope that you'll soon solve your issue and enjoy your game. Good luck!

Could be related to a recent update of your graphic card's drivers.
You could still have a go at removing mods from your mods folder but it looks really more like an issue with the computer/game than a mod problem.
You can also try loading a new save game and see if the lots are fine.
