The computer won. Spent over 12 hours trying to get Studio to work. Some program is missing off my computer is the problem.
I was nearly crying with the thought that I would not be able to use Sims 4 Studio. I love it so much.
My lovely son has let me put it on his computer. Now to tie him up or use sleeping pills to keep him off his own computer, Is what I are thinking of doing.
No, just so grateful to him.

Why wont Studio work on your computer ? I'm guessing because Studio requires the Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 version) from Microsoft and her PC doesn't have it?

I have installed Visual C++ Redistributable quite a few times. Keeps asking that it has installed right. I can only load to the first scene then if I push any buttons to go any further it dies. No idea why. Have been trying and trying to get it to work. Just tried again nothing. It is a lost cause

Does it give you an error message when it dies ? The good new is that some thing in Windows 7 caused it. Removed windows 7 and then re-installed it. I now have Sims 4 studio working. "Happy, Happy Dance"
