hi! I'm not seeing any black shirt... ? before joining both meshes I suggest you finish your clothing first. apply weights, vertex paint and uv_1. once that's done you join it with the nude. also, both meshgroups need to have matching uv names, uv_0 and uv_1.
if you need more help, please share the blend file.

I put links to the photo in the post. U will see the black shirt in photo one i have done everything else like i needed too. When i go to join them using ctrl j that doesnt work so i have to manually join them but when i do the black shirt dissapears as shown in photo two. So the links u see u just copy those and paste them in your url in your browser and hit enter and u will see the photos.

i am literally so confused right now. there is no "black t-shirt" in your image, unless you're referring to the uv map, which is specifically named "uv map" and if you are referring to the "black image on the uv map," then that's because you can only see that when you're in edit mode. you need to go into edit mode to see the uv map.

But my main issue is I cant use CTRL+J it doesnt work iv tried 3 different blenders

you can't do that in edit mode either. you need to be in object mode and have both meshes selected and then use ctrl+j

I don't get the issue anymore. Is it that you cannot join or that your "black shirt hence the uv map" disappears ? Cause it never disappeared. It was just that when you originally joined the meshes you were in object mod. Cannot see the uv map in object mod, only in edit mod. And as you uv map were probably not named properly, you ended up with 3 uv_maps on your object.
The right thing to do here is to follow Inabadromance's advices. (And probably look at a tutorial on how to mesh clothes.) Also once again, sharing the blend will be helpful for further assistance

This thread will go anywhere without the blend file so someone can show you the steps and see on which one exactly you're doing things differently.
