Fixing Clip Events in exported animations?

I've done this before, but then took a break and for the life of me can't remember how I did it. I'm exporting animations, making changes in Blender, then import the animation. However doing so seems to remove the "clip event' which is the Sim talking or making sound. I need to replace the original clip event, but I can't figure it out.
