Hello! A long time ago a user asked them to convert a necklace like a mermaid and I offered to try to help in the policies of what can be modified ... if in the end this is a mistake, then I will delete the publication and will not continue with the help I do not want to hurt other people I just like to see someone's requests fulfilled here I leave the link of the policy: modthesims.info/m/165440as I have to translate every little word because there is no real English, I understand that it can be converted but if it turns out that the translator did it wrong xD Anyway, I've been reading about the uv map and all that (really is complicated) I saw the image of how everything goes I think I'm doing fine ... (or I do not know) but honestly it's not textured, it only has the mesh but it's yellow and it's ugly here I leave the blender file in case someone gives me a hand I just need to put the texture but ... frankly I do not know how to do it I saw the tutorial of object sims 2 to sims 4, take out the 3d geometry, look for the texture of the image
open sims4 studio look for a similary necklace in this case export the mesh, import the mesh .obj ... try to put it as I could so that the collar would not fly the width and height..I do not know how to calculate that www.simfileshare.net/download/592493/that's how it looks without texture :( regards!

Hey ! What you have to do for the texture is in blender , you have to export the UV layout , open the UV layout in any photo editor program you want and then create your texture above the UV layout and then that should work fine ^^ ( just a little information to help you : The UV is way too small , so it might be hard for you to place the texture on it. If you want , I can fix the size of your UV just so your texture won't look blurry , and it won't be hard to place the texture anymore , but that is if you want to ! ^^ )

ok..I'm going to try again save the template I'm going back from scratch, I'll tell you if you gave results by editing my message If the UV is too small, how do I do that part? What kind of pixels do I use? I do not think it should be huge some multiple of 2? to clone a similar necklace I'm sure it's okay the template serves as a guide to see better where I stand? therefore I open that template to better place the collar as a png in blender but I should have put the uwrap? Or would he have left it like that? When I opened it the dimensions of the texture of the image came as 256x256 then should I change it? a doubt with SIMPE the necklace has 3 files and there is one that says mesh and the other shows the same GMDC then ... nothing happens if I only export a GMDC? because it has the same amount .. I do not know, have done the steps well? when I clone a necklace has a cut number, then that cut number I have to put on the converted collar?

I'm afraid that I can't help you with the gmcd part and stuff :/ The only thing I can help you with is making the UV bigger , in order to do that , in Blender , you have to select your UV n then on your keyboard click on S and now you should be able to resize it ! Once your done with that , click on UV > Export UV layout ( it is below the UV window )

Oh ok, I understood! that is, export the uv image and then put it in a graphic editor ... is not it?
and then ... I paint it, that is, I make a selection and start painting it in one color?

You can put the UV image into Gimp , or photoshop ( if you don't have gimp nor photoshop , you can go there to edit online : pixlr.com/editor/ ) Hope you'll succeed ^^

I appreciate the nouchcka help, but in the end .. I think it's not for T-T conversions in the game it looks but ... it has the original necklace marked (I did not put specular or shadow or anything like that) for the fact that in sims4studio it looks like this: here's the blender file but I do not think you can do anything As I said in the game, T-T bug is made when I click on render it looks all yellow (that's fine) it has the texture well .. I do not know what I did wrong but I got tired I'm going to leave my blender file and all that in the thread of the sims 2 of the necklace, if someone finishes it ... or does it again, I'm sorry www.simfileshare.net/download/647708/package: www.simfileshare.net/download/647710/

You should restart the convertion again to check if it wasn't an error in your program or something , I hope that you will find one day the solution !
