I was working on some nails to convert from TS3 today (I already have asked the original creator for permisson to convert and post and she said yes) and everything was working out great until the moment I tested them in Create-A-Sim, They were floating around the sim instead of sticking to her nails and moved when she walked. I put them in the "Socks" category so I could use them and use an accessory phone. Here is my package and blendImages:

you still need to weight them. you can use the hands as a reference mesh.

What CAS item would I use to weight them?

you need to append the nude top and use the hands as the reference mesh.

So I use the nude top for weights and import the nails over the nude top in the S4S client? I'm just trying to make it clearer for myself haha

um i don't believe you need to import the nude top into s4s, i'm just saying this should be your reference mesh because it has the weights for the fingers. please look at this tutorial for how to transfer weights.

Which version of blender do you use for transfering weights? I prefer the version 2.70a for the weights. Not all blender versions working with S4S.

Here is the updated blend fileI open the file in Blender, Append the nude top, Select both and go into 'Weight Paint' mode, I then do the weight transfer, I save then import it into the S4S client. I don't know why it's not working for me :/

make sure you select the reference mesh first and then your mesh. and make sure that you delete all vertex groups in your mesh before doing the weight transfer.

I've fixed the problem by just completely re-converting them but now there are lines(???) coming from both the left and right pinky nails, I thought this was only a problem with certain poses but I see that its just there whenever the sim does anything such as playing on their phone and doing the base animations.
