Hello, and thanks for taking the time to read my post! I am relatively new to both Sims 4 Studio and Blender (and Photoshop for that matter) as far as creating my own custom content from scratch for TS4. I am having an issue with what I believe is the specular maps in my content and everything I create is so shiny, and I can't seem to alter the shine no matter what I do. Is it possible that EA's specular map is still attached to my object, even though I replaced the maps with my own? Whatever insight that can be provided would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

hi! there's only one specular and one bump map (there might be more depending on how many meshgroups there is) and all are replaceable through the warehouse. it has nothing to do with the mesh. you might be doing the textures wrong. remember to export the originals and compare them to yours is you're not sure. both files require alpha channels so all needs to be saved as dxt5 with alpha. if you want matte textures then you can get them from here: simfileshare.net/folder/15148/
