Hello,
I love OhMySims's Japanese hot tub, but it was broken several patches back and the creator has not shown any intent to update, so I went ahead and updated it for myself. I think other people would like to use it, too, but I don't want to reupload the item without the author's permission. I messaged her about it, but I've not heard back in a month.
I also want to add to it, but I need help adding extra effects and I don't know if s4s crew would help me with this project.
What are your thoughts? How long should I wait? Do you think it's wrong to update this item?

I think a month is long enough to wait for a response if a creator is no longer active in Sims 4. You might also put in a caveat in your release that you'll take down your link if the original creator ever comes back and updates. Someone may be able to help you with the extra effects if you make a post in the Creator Help section with more specifics. Good luck with your project  |

I have been really frustrated that the hot tub no longer works, because I use it on a lot of my lots. If you get it working, please post a link! |
