This means your weights are incorrect. Try following this tutorial> sims4studio.com/thread/81/weight-transfer-blenderAlso, you should delete any parts of the original Sim body that cannot be seen under the clothes. This will also help get rid of the clipping that is visible on the other shoulder.

Okay... but that tutorial is really not very explanatory for someone totally new to this... what mesh am I supposed to be transferring the weights from? Also what do I do after step 5, is there a button to press to finish it? How am I supposed to fix that one sleeve using the weight painting thing? What is it supposed to look like? Sorry I'm trying to google this stuff, and I'm not really finding anything that explains about weight transferring or walks you through it step by step... Thanks for the clipping tip. That was the next thing I was going to try to figure out.

You can use any mesh you like to transfer weights from but it is best to use a mesh that is as close to your clothing item as you can get. Also make sure to NOT transfer weights for the EA arms and hands in your mesh as they are already correct. I'm going to tag inabadromance for this as she has more experience with this kind of thing.

For my mesh, I don't know what would be considered close to it or what would fix the sleeve issue? The top I used for the pink parts, or the top I used for the sleeves? Also, Blender isn't even letting me add weight paint to the sleeve areas. I try to paint them, and nothing happens.

hey! when you transfer weights, make sure you're doing it in blender 2.70. otherwise you'll need to do the CLEAN step as shown in the tutorial menaceman44 posted. i suggest grabbing the yfTop_Tshirtlong. it doesn't really matter what reference mesh you use; just that the clothing parts cover mostly or all of what you need to transfer weights to. you also need to delete all vertex groups before transferring weights. if you're still having issues after doing what i suggested, you'll need to share the updated package and blend files.

What should the paint look like when I do this? Should I just paint the whole thing or?

you yourself don't need to paint anything. if you do what i suggested above, delete all vertex groups(meaning all weights), and then transfer weights, you will be fine.

I did it and it's no longer having the weight issues. Now it just has some clipping... Which I think I can fix on my own. Thanks!
