Hi, i've been trying to make a skin overlay that solely affects the arms and i've tried both tattoos and the wrinkle face decal, both failing rather horribly in game despite appearing normally on the mod preview-- i would show what it's supposed to look like, but truth be told I'm entirely new to forum posting as well.
But all i can really say is that the overlay winds up messing with the textures, i.e. making the entire model blackened out.
any tutorials i should follow and such?

Hi kabiikinsYou can upload a screenshot of the issue using websites like imgur for example and then post the link in a post that will be easier for us to point you in the right direction then. This kind of issue could be linked to texture size, sort layer or composition method. Cannot say much more without a picture (or the package, same story, you can upload it to google drive, or any upload website and provide a link so we can have a look)

Hi kabiikinsYour texture is too small. Should be minimum 1024x2048 (you have currently a (512x1024) Removing the unnecessary parts of your texture are optional but you could (the bottom part and between the arms) But like it is one of the first layers applied it is not really an issue. And if you wanna have no blending of your tatoo (for a sharper effect) you can change the composition method to 0. For this go to the warehouse tab then select the cas part and look for the composition method field. (it is used to blend your tattoo texture in the skin texture)
