Hello, I am working on creating a custom book for my sims to read, however, I am having trouble with the texture and thumbnail. ![]() When my sims go to read the book, nothing is there. When I go to look for it in the catalog, it just shows the default thumbnail for the nonfiction book. I have been stuck for 2 days on this. Please help. |

I'm sort of having a similar issue. I'm trying to make a book for my sims to read but no matter what I do, I can never find the book in any catalog. I've tried watching the tutorial video on how to debug objects but it wasn't any help as I still can't find the book. I was able to find the file name on the list of mods that pops up when I open the game but I can't find the actual book itself. Please help?

This is a question for both of you, does your book show up in the Purchase Book pop up window on bookcases? Books aren't designed to show up in the regualr buy catalogue normally. Also check that the DevCatagoryFlags value in the Object Catalog resource in the Warehouse view is set to 000000B0.
If this doesn't help at all then please share your package files so that someone can take a closer look.
