Hey So I created my first custom kitchen but I still have lighting problems with the cabinets. I already changed the cabinet shader to the counter one and it helped a lot just the tall cabinet is still showing up dark :( It does that even if it isn't placed over a counter. I read that the light resource of the tall cabinets is borked and need to be swatched but I don't know how to do so. I already tried replacing the LIGHT resource with another one but that didn't worked. Strangely if I choose the second wall height and move it one tile up it shows up correctly. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi chippedsim. Just a shot in the dark here, but have you tried removing all of the entries in the 'Occluders' of the Light resource? While they are still a mystery to me myself, I have had much luck with unwanted shadows by removing them altogether.
Not a true informed idea, but perhaps a possibility? Good Luck with your quest!

Thank you for the tip I'll try it 😊
One old tutorial said something about changing things so the tall cabinet references the light resource of the medium one but I don't know what I need to change for that.

Ok I talked to some people and it seems to be a problem with the occluder. Hopefully deleting the occluders will fix this!
I don't think it has to do something with the dynamic shadows since I think peacemaker would mention it in his published kitchen sets. He told me to try to delete the occluders too.
-EDIT- So deleting the occluders fixed the problem-
