Hi, I want to convert a hair mesh to sims 4. I have scaled it and weighted it and uv unwrapped it. That was all I could find on what to do for hair. I'm obviously missing some step as it won't import into S4S. Any help would be appreciated. Blender file: drive.google.com/open?id=1wyldU6vVAoUghRsXspNil_esz0NWQl0o

The basic premise on how to properly import an item (be that build/buy or CAS) is to import the SAME AMOUNT of mesh groups with their respective numbers so that ALL mesh group are updated accordingly.
Hairs are composed by 3 mesh groups. Each representing a different hair state: no hat, hat v1 and hat v2.
Firstly, you need to clean your workplace. Before importing anything you need to delete ALL rig copies but the original (rig). Also, you can't leave ANY other mesh groups that you want to get imported. You have two hidden ones there that you should delete.
Your blend has only 1 meshgroup for your hair with cut number 0000 (one of the hat states) You need to create another two accordingly (duplicate twice, fix the meshgroup names and cut numbers, and create the hat chops if you want your hair to work with hats). If you're still unsure, export the original hair and compare it to yours.

np :D I find that cleaning the blend from clutter and unnecessary stuff helps you see the bigger picture better. that's my humble opinion.

Your suggestions made it work and I like not having that huge list XD I was just scared to delete stuff in case I needed it.
