Hi! I'm new here and it's my first time posting on this forum. I am working on a cloned computer object and I have already finished the mesh, transferred the weight paints, and everything works fine in-game except that the display of the monitor does not scale to the whole screen (see screenshot).
The black bars on top and bottom of the screen should also be occupied. I just need to be pointed to the right direction since I don't know how to make the display fit those areas. Thank you in advance!

can you post the pack file? I can take a look at it and try to figure out what the issue is. Which computer did you use to get your mesh into S4S?

I cloned it from the Immersive Bend computer (the futuristic looking one colored in white). The whole computer is working (I guess) the mouse moves, so the weight transfer was successful. I have also finished painting it so I guess the mesh itself is fine. The project is just messy because it's my second mesh so please forgive me lol. Anyway here are the links to the files, I included the finished .package with all the colors I made and the .blend file: drive.google.com/open?id=1wLu_0t8hkLLlnpiZ3BZufl85yAzxg21mIf you figure it out please teach me. Thank you so much for helping!

By the way just additional information: I am working on the Microsoft Surface Studio and I have kept all dimensions very close to the actual thing (except for some design changes including the display) I have increased the size of the display but it still has the same ratio with the original. The Surface Studio's display has an aspect ratio of 3:2.

You need to alter the shape of the UV mapping for the screen. Currently your screen is mapped as a perfect square. If you map it to the same ratio as your mesh it should display correctly.

I already tried that sir and the result stays the same. I thought maybe it has something to do with the default videos being played by the game? Is there something in the warehouse tab I can modify to change that?

Update: It's solved! Thank you for the effort guys but I think it's a minor thing I overlooked. I thought that the game scales the display videos to fit the screen in-game so when I cloned it I kinda assumed that whatever display size I would choose, the game would scale it. Turns out square-ish screens have black bars on the display by default. I looked at all of the computers with square monitors and they all have black bars including the computer I cloned my object from. Here is the PC I cloned it from: So here's how I solved it. I cloned another PC. This time I chose a PC with a wide screen. I transferred the weights again from the newer object just to make sure it was properly replaced. I transferred all the mesh, texture, and data to the new package and it worked! Here's the final output: Thank you, guys for the help and effort! I'll just finish adding back the other swatches.

Anyway, I am glad you found a method that worked for you and you can finish your object now.

I have noticed when using certain objects for a conversion (which is basically what you do when you make your own mesh compatible) sometimes what we think is going to work doesn't work at all. I am glad you were able to find out what happened. Sorry, I didn't help out in the end. If one clone doesn't work, try another one. Just keep that in mind...and don't ever let anyone tell you that an object can't do what you want it to do....because it can and it can be done. LOOOOOKS great! Great job!

I have already posted it on the Creator's Studio. Thanks! Thank you, too, menaceman44.
