Hi! so sorry I'm tagging along in the convo I just don't know how to create my own;)
Anyway, I recently deleted all of my cc bc I got sick of it, so I set out to get all the essentials on tsr. I was using my laptop thinking I could just send the folders through messages or gmail. Once I collected all the cc I needed I tried sending it via text message to my mac sierra that I use to actually play the sims. But then I realized that iMessage doesn't always nessacarily go through on the computer. so I drop and dropped everything into a gmail draft and sent it to my self. while I was sending it it said I needed to download it all via google drive since it was more than 25 somethings, so I agreed. after it sent I went to my mac computer and opened my gmail, drag and dropped every single one into my mods folder, and started playing, now mind this that I noticed that the little icon that represents the package is usually a blank piece of paper with a folded corner. but This time I noticed that it was the piece of paper with a safari search engine symbol on it and it said in all caps small gray letters WEBLOC. I didn't mind any of it though and went into sims 4 anyway. when I logged in I checked to see if it worked and the cc was not there!!! please help! because I just spent like 45 minutes trying to figure this out and I don't know what to do bc i don't want to have to search everything up again and download it one by one!!!!!! please help please!!!!

Hi! I've moved your post into a new thread as it isn't related to what the other thread was about. Personally, i think you took the longest way to take the cc you wanted over the other computer. Don't you have a pen drive you can use?
Anyway, you don't "drag and drop" from gmail. You download the files. Those webloc files (i don't have mac, i had to google this information) are shortcuts from safari.
Delete all those files, and properly download the packages again from your mail.

Hi Elliet, I also have a mac. I would also recommend copying the mods folder of the cc you want onto a thumb drive or small hard drive and copying from the laptop to the imac that way. Do you still have the original package files on the laptop before you emailed them to yourself?
