Hello, First off, this forum has been my go-to for the last several days when working on this CAS project. I have probably read countless tutorials and scrolled through several pages worth of comments to help me in this project and for that I am extremely grateful. I am currently stuck on a CAS dress project. I have started over from scratch countless times while following this tut, this one and most importantly this one since I used MD to create my mesh. I have also watched countless youtube videos...BUT I am missing something somewhere and I think it is the weight transfer piece. This was my first complete package import after I tried it in game drive.google.com/open?id=1LMrIKZnR81bLI4uc507Zm6RD164ws_rGand this is my second complete attempt... drive.google.com/open?id=12n6ZyrivGI8hO2kz70yrVh7c9JbFprckFor the weight transfer I initially used the lingerie as the reference mesh for the weights, but it did not add weights to the sleeves of the MD dress. I then used a similar dress as the MD for the transfer...and I thought everything transferred correctly...but obviously not. Or maybe I am completely wrong and it isn't a weight problem. Maybe I screwed up my UV mapping as that was another source of contention because the skirt bottom is in panels rather than one piece. Below is my blender file (Updated link) and the package- though I was just playing with the texture files and when I reloaded it in game, it came out as a shiny bodysuit blenderDress PackageThanks for the help

Hi! The link to your blender file leads to this page. Can you fix that? And may you share the package you're importing your blend to as well?

I apologize, the original post as been updated with both blender file and the .package. I also realize that the polys are high. I thought when I exported it out of MD that it was under 10k. Perhaps that is contributing to it as well?

The blender link still leads to this thread. Please paste the link directly instead of using the link button.

OK. Hopefully, it is linked this time. I am not sure why it wouldn't link before

Looking at your files i notice the following: - Your mesh and the original blend (from the package you cloned) don't match number of mesh groups (with their respective cut numbers) If the original mesh had 3 groups, then yours MUST HAVE the same amount. I suggest cloning a different outfit that has only 1 meshgroup, you can clone the full outfit female lingerie. Export it's mesh and use THAT as reference for both weights and uv_1. To re do the weights, you need to delete ALL bones from your mesh so the you have a clean transfer. - Your blend presents unnecessary elements that shouldn't be there when importing. You need to delete ALL rig copies (only live rig) and the bone mesh group. Also, delete all hidden groups. You have one mesh group that you used as reference, you need to delete that before importing EVEN if it's hidden.

Thank you for your help. I wasn't sure which mesh to use as a reference as one tutorial said to use a suit/lingerie and another said to use a mesh that looks similar to the one I am making. I saved every step of the file, so going back will to before the data transfer will be easy (I learned the hard way not to save after every step).
I should redo the uv_1 mesh as well? Since I used a 3grp dress mesh? I noticed that the uv_1 that transferred over looked slightly different than the swimsuit body one I had done during one of my last attempts at this project
Thanks again for your help

you should test the new package with the new weight transfer. if you don't see any issues with the morphs then you can skip re doing it.
