Can anyone help me? I'm getting this error message and I don't know how to fix the issue. How do I update memory? Why am I receiving this message? Help?

I'm assuming by memory they are talking about your computer and lack of it using Sims 4 Studio? What kind of computer do you have and how much RAM etc?

It's possible you're not running enough RAM to do many functions at the same time. Are you running a lot of things at the same time? Try shutting some of the other programs off and see if you still get the issue. Can the error be corrected if you restart your system?
I did see a number of posts doing a quick google searches that said that that system you mentioned did not run well on Windows 10. Perhaps Windows 10 is taking up too many resources to allow the system to do any other strong resource required programs?

I forgot to add the reason I suggested that your system might not be strong enough for windows 10 is my sister had a similar error. I don't recall the hex code, but it said what yours is saying about not having enough ram. She had it with a different program running but a similar set up as what you have. She dug through google for few days for other answers to the issue before ultimately going to that as a last resort.

I have a gaming PC and I don't run anything else while running the Sims. The Sims runs well. It's just this software. It's frustrating. Thanks for trying to give me help. I may need to reach out to the developer.

You could try running it when the Sims isn't on. Just S4Studio. Is it the latest version 1.2.5?

When I run the Sims 4 Studio, I have nothing open except the MOD folder. I'm at a loss. Lacey I assume you have tried completely uninstalling the Studio (Wishes) and reinstalling to see if that helps? I was having issues where I couldn't get it to open anymore and tried to reinstall but still happening until I removed it properly with clean my mac3 uninstaller which obviously got files that dumping in the recycling bin and emptying didn't and then proceeded to work. You should definitely have enough RAM for just that. Try what I suggested there of properly uninstalling so it get's everything and then try reinstalling the latest version again and seeing if that helps. Are you able to run it at all or does that error immediately stop you from doing anything?

what all did you do? I did uninstall and reinstall but I didn't delete recycle but I did empty the cache. I am welcoming any and all suggestions. Thank you so much.

did you use the latest version that is stable (not beta testing version?) Not really sure what else it could be. Does the Sims 4 run normally on your pc? I'd assume it (S4Studio) wouldn't use more resources than Sims 4

Hi lacey, After uninstalling S4S, did you check if everything has been deleted? Including every single file in C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\? As there is a settings file there as well. So if you could indulge me on this little experiment, by again uninstalling S4S, and then go to the folder i mentioned, and delete the entire Sims 4 Studio folder you see in there, and then reinstall S4S again. It's not a guarantee it's going to work, but it's just a hunch, and better to try everything you can to make it work right Let me be a bit more specific Sims 4 Studio installs, much like Origin does with The Sims 4, in two separate folders. Folder 1 (which does get fully removed with just a uninstall): C:\Program Files (x86)\Sims 4 Studio\ Folder 2 (which does NOT get removed at all with uninstall): C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\ Tough they are installed in two separate folders, when Sims 4 Studio runs it uses both.

Hi lacey, this error is a somewhat generic error in that it can be caused by a variety of things and can affect applications of all kinds. We've only had four reports of this error occurring with Studio in the last two years, limiting my experience with ways to fix it. A couple of instances were reported in conjunction with working with corrupt custom content among other things. The error sometimes goes away after deleting the Documents/Sims 4 Studio folder and then restarting Studio as Memphis Creations suggested above. Another thing you could try is rebooting your computer and reinstalling Studio. I would also recommend running a Windows update on your OS. Because so many issues can cause this problem, it's difficult to give a definitive answer that is guaranteed to work in each case.

orangemittens, thank you. I did so some of this but I will try again and do all the others. MadeInOz, I don't know if it's the beta but will be checking and installing the correct one. Thank you. I think it may be the beta. Memphis84, I did uninstall from the one folder but I honestly didn't now about the possibility of the second folder. I will be taking care of this tonight. One of these suggestions has to work. Also, orangemittens, I ran that software that looks for conflicts and deleted all that were found and then re-ran it to ensure that I got all the conflicts. I thank you all for your help and suggestions and will update you.

All creators here use the Beta (Wishes). Also, when i uninstalled S4S the first time, its something i noticed right away, and don't feel bad about not knowing, i think alot of creators/users don't/didn't know. It's all good :-)
