just reading about someone requesting this for sims is uh. quite honestly as someone that's been involuntarily committed, i play sims to get away from content like this. and the way most of the events are framed feel to me like my trauma is being commodified for someone else's entertainment.
if anyone went through with a mod like this, i could only hope they would reframe it as a respectful behavioral health facility mod with functioning outpatient features.

Psychiatry and respectful in one sentence?Don't think it will ever be true. If we have to talk about trauma commodified for entertainment,I guess Sacrificial has ton of these.Extreme Violence,Wicked whims,Basemental drugs? Been there,done that with the involuntary commitment.And with outpatient.And believe me,I despise these people and their practices to my very core.This is why I made this up.Because in the Sims you can fight back with no repercussions. |

Not everyone is in a position where they are comfortable having their trauma made into a mod and invading their safe spaces. Your feelings on how to process that sort of trauma are not universal, and i would prefer you not slap down those that experienced the same exact trauma and cannot expose themselves to it again for their own health.
Please have literally any sort of empathy for those that suffered the same trauma as you. its insensitive and highly ableist.
