New lot type:Mental hospital
You can be send there voluntary or involuntary,move household screen will pop up if you're sent.
Stay will be randomly generated,between 3 and 14 days,can be extended depending on behavior.Maximum stay is 30 days in game time if more days are added to your stay as penalty.
Every day is like one of the task based jobs (Doctor/Scientist/Detective).You have a set of tasks to complete,which can
provide rewards (again randomly generated)
New mechanic,Sick leave,implemented for sims who have jobs/school.You can choose how many days you'll be absent,and will
have to call to extend if you're kept longer.
New tasks like:
Take medication
Attend therapy
Attend group therapy
Have breakfast/lunch/dinner
Watch evening show (staff will gather patients for a movie in the evening)
Do homework (for children and teens)
Take shower
Clean teeth
Wash hands
Clean room
Read self improvement book
etc...
New interractions like:
Talk about problems (two outcomes,two moodlets)(performed on therapist sim)
Keep quiet about problems (two outcomes,two moodlets)(same)
Leave therapy session:(one outcome)(can only be performed after getting the Bothered moodlet during therapy)(performed on
door of therapy room)
Pick a fight with...(can be either patient or staff,three outcomes,six moodlets)
Attack...(again,patient or staff,two outcomes,four moodlets)
Refuse meds (one outcome,two moodlets)(performed on nurse sim)
Refuse therapy(two outcomes,two moodlets)(performed on therapist sim)
Sleep in (one outcome,one moodlet)(performed on bed)
Rile up patients(one outcome,one moodlet)(performed on floor)
Attempt escape(two outcomes,two moodlets)(performed on front door of lot)

Positive outcome:(100% chance if relationship with therapist is neutral or good)

troubles,and be understood.(relationship with therapist improves)
Negative:(40% chance if relationship with therapist is negative)
Moodlet:Misunderstood(from therapy session)(Angry +2):SIM NAME is so angry right now.The therapist doesn't listen at all!
(relationship with therapist drops)
Keep quiet about problems:
Positive:(50% chance of happening,no matter your relationship with therapist)
Moodlet:Left alone(from keeping quiet)(Fine +1):SIM NAME has finally been left alone by that annoying therapist.SIM GENDER
doesn't need help!

Leave therapy session: Your sim will angrily walk out of the room
Outcome:You get a day added to your stay for each time you leave therapy

Get sent to room:You get sent to your room for your behaviour.
Moodlet:Locked up(from picking a fight)(Sad +2):SIM NAME got sent to their room and will now miss out on all the fun
activities the others are having.Maybe an apology can fix this?
Moodlet:Imprisoned(from picking a fight)(Angry +2):How dare they lock SIM NAME away?!
Get restrained:You get taken to your room and get restained to a bed (up to 3 hours in game time)
Moodlet:Restrained(from picking a fight)(Sad +1):This is unfair.Now that SIM NAME has calmed down they see it was
wrong.Maybe an apology can fix this?

Get woken up:An orderly sim comes over and wakes you up

Rile up patients:
Get sent to room: A nurse comes and takes you to your room
Moodlet:Silenced(from riling patients up)(Angry +2):This nurse is rached! (REFERENCE!!!)
Attempt escape:
Positive: (20% chance of happening) Your sim sneaks out of the front door,move household screen appears
Moodlet:Escaped(from attempting escape)(Happy +5):SIM NAME has made it!They are out of that prison!
Negative: (80% chance of happening) Your sim gets noticed and is brought back to their room by an orderly,3 days added to
your stay as penalty
Moodlet:Failed to escape(from attempting escape)(Sad +5):SIM NAME has failed to escape the claws of psychiatry.
Custom rewards:
Sleep in: an orderly will not bother your sim if they sleep in for 3 days
Stay up late: Your sim will be able to enjoy activities such as reading,watching tv,etc for an additional hour and half every night
More therapy sessions: Your sim can ask for more therapy with their favourite therapist
etc..
Custom penalties:
1-3 days added to your stay
No activities: Your sim will be forbidden from watching tv,etc with others for 1-3 days
Individual therapy only: Your sim will be forbidden from attending group therapy for 2 days
etc...

Custom notifications:
Extended stay:
The psychiatrists in LOT NAME facillity have determined than SIM NAME's behaviour requires an extended stay.SIM NAME will stay for DAYS AMOUNT (1 to 3 days) more.
Release:
If released before 30 days:Congratulations! SIM NAME is feeling better and ready to go home!
If released on 30 days: The psychiatrists in LOT NAME facillity cannot do anything else for SIM NAME.Maybe look into another facillity or cooperate next time.
So...this is it I guess?
And before someone comments,I work in a rehab facillity in Europe,it's very different from USA facillities.
