So I have a file I merged, it's 1.11 GB. So whenever I try to unmerge it I get this in my unmerge folder-
"This folder contains the content of the merged package:
Merge 1.package
The original location of this package is:
C:\Users\xxxxxx\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\merge stuff
The merged package contained 0 .package files. "
In the form of a NotePad file. Is the file too big to unmerged? Is there a way I can unmerge it? I never had this issue before with a 1gb file in the older version of S4S.
Thank you for any answers.

It sounds like your merge file may be corrupted. I'm not sure, but there shouldn't be any issues with unmerging and size.

So it works fine as a merged file, but if you try to unmerge it studio pulls up that error and does not give you any separated files? What about error logs? Or anything in the windows event viewer?
Hopefully someone who's better equipped can help out. Until then I can try to at least do some searching for errors on google to try and help.

How can you posibly have a .package that's 1000 TB? I think you have the number wrong lol. In any case Studio will be able to unmerge the .packages that contain the merging manifiest made by Studio's merging tool. If that .package was merged using another tool Studio won't be able to unmerge it. I don't know about this .package because you didn't share it but It might be the case. If that's the problem unfortunately there's nothing that Studio can do about it.
Also, what others have said above it's also true.

Does S4S recognize the packages within? Here is a quick example merged file I just created using packages I created in trying the tutorials from Bakie (thanks Bakie!)

Hi jasmine5289 I just tried merging my entire collection of packages, merged total size 1.66 GiB, and it played (not as well as my original Mods folder structure since some of the content (ts4scripts) were coded to expect to be in their own folder). I was able to unmerge the package as well. My Un-merged package information.txt looked normal: This folder contains the content of the merged package: merged.package The original location of this package is: C:\Users\_____\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods The merged package contained 277 .package files.

So I have a file I merged, it's 1,111,441 GB. So whenever I try to unmerge it I get this in my unmerge folder- "This folder contains the content of the merged package: Merge 1.package The original location of this package is: C:\Users\xxxxxx\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\merge stuff The merged package contained 0 .package files. Thank you for any answers. I hope I can help but, can you fix how the numbers typed. I think 1Pb (1000000 Gb) file doesn't sound real to me.
