Hey there... First of all I'm sorry to post without having introduced myself, but I searched everywhere to no avail and would like, if possible, some help from more experienced people than me. If it's innappropriate just tell me, that's fine. So here's the thing, I've been searching for a way to make Sims accept when asked for blood by Vampires when the relationship is significantly high enough. The way I see it : Sims very much in love of BFFs should have a very high success rate. Ans Sims like Soulmates or the like should, in my opinion, get a 100% success rate (how could their madly in love partners refuse, or if they hate Vampire, how can they be lucid on the subject while they are in love with one ? ). Now for the technicallity : I've been searching with S4 Studio for XML tuning files concerning this. I found plenty of "AskForDrink" instances, but couldn't figure out what to change and where to look specifically. It's not as simple as something clearly defined as "test for acceptance" and stuff like "if relationship is * or higher than *" (yeah I'm naive enough to believe it could have been that easy). So here's my question : does anyone know how to rewrite success parameters ? Or like, some guidance on where to look ? Or better yet, knows where to look for "Ask for permission to drink"'s assets concerning acceptation tests. Either way, I would be very much relieved... I've began to mod only tonight, I'm a begginner, but I'm persistent and willing to learn. At least for basic tuning, because I like to change my game in specifics ways. Have a good night, or a good day, or both.

I've never played around with changing relationship level checks in tuning before but I have played around with tuning for other purposes. I've just taken a quick look and it seems that the "vampire_AskPermissionToDrink" may be a good place to start. About two thirds down the list there is a "tests" section which seems to reference relationship level and outcome. The first has a value of 13 and the second has a value of 5. Sadly, I can't say what these values relate to though but you could try changing one of them and seeing if it has any effect.

Thanks for the response ! Yeah that's the first I checked, hah. I'll try looking at those lines, that's a start ! Because the tricky part is to figure out if the tests are for "Target Sim" or the Sim (like, what determines the likeliness of the Sim to perform the "AskPermissionToDrink" beforehand). I'll come back with some testing later and elaborate on my results.

Well I've been reading things and testing stuff. I don't know, it seems so random for sims to accept that... So far, I've only been able to change anims and text when accepting or refusing the vampire to drink from sims. I've been looking for stuff concerning acceptation and the like, on other mods or game basic interactions, but there's so much here. I feel like I'm biting more than a can chew as a newbie, lol. If at least I knew what the game's conditions for acceptance were, I could start somewhere, but people have been saying it feels very very random. Or maybe related to vampires regaining humanity... Is there some other tutorial around here I could look up to for basics concerning XML tuning with interactions ? So far I only found the tutorial about "tweaking mods", and it helped, but I feel I'm only scratching the surface here... Anyways, thanks for the help. I'm gonna try and see what I can find, but I'm a bit discouraged by my discoveries so far.
EDIT : oh and if anyone perchance is stumbling there and is interested, Yes as menaceman44 suggested it is the file "vampire_AskForPermissionToDrink" that needs tweaking. But as for the value, no clue.
EDIT : Given more thoughts I think that's not it... and what's more it could be linked to another file. I'm giving up lol, spent the entire day on this and I'm not gonna succeed. Oh well. Maybe I'll give it a try later. I'm sick of XML for now haha.
