Hey guys! I've been using S4S for a bit, mainly just to edit the tags on my body mods so they only show up in "Sleep" in CAS.
Every time I install updates for a given body morph, I lose the tag edits I've made in the past, they reset and show back up in "Everything" or other tags I don't want them in, which kinda sucks but like, I get it. Anyways I was trying to do this recently in S4S encountered a couple issues I haven't had before. (Note: this issue appeared before and after updating S4S). The issues were as follows:
1/ When trying to edit a morph to only show up in "sleep", I get the error text posted below. This issue is coming up for CC I've edited in past updates and it seems to affect every package.
The Sims 4 Studio - Version 3.1.1.0
S4Studio.Data.IO.Package.PackageLoadException: Failed to load C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\(BOD)Bodymorph\nondefaultbottom.package ---> System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\[UserName]\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\(BOD)Bodymorph\nondefaultbottom.package' is denied.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.File.InternalCopy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite, Boolean checkHost)
at System.IO.File.Copy(String sourceFileName, String destFileName, Boolean overwrite)
at S4Studio.Data.IO.Package.DBPFPackage.Save(String out_file, Boolean inline, String temp_path)
at S4Studio.ViewModels.MyCC.ModPackageViewModel.ExecuteSavePackage()
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---
Thanks for any help!
*EDIT* The second problem of the packages not appearing in the browser was because a third of my body morph packages disappeared from their files, which is weird but I don't think S4S had anything to do with it
