As the title says, my buy mode thumbnails are generating off center. The objects are too high in the frame and in some instances getting cut off. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I adjusted the footprints with the 'Adjust footprint to fit mesh' button while having the update design tool height box checked. Any ideas on how to fix this? I really don't want to do custom thumbnails.

I haven't worked a lot with objects, but have you tried to check how "big" are the bottom meshes (the ones with the shadow texture)?

Was this ever solved? I'm having the same issue with my game generated thumbnails. I've been using custom thumbnails as a work around made from renders from inside blender but I'd really rather use the game generated thumbnails.
EDIT: I thought I should add that I did check for stray verts in my mesh and there are none. I could attach one of my blend files if that would help. (it's a big project with a bunch of items and they all generate the thumbnails off center)

This can be modified in each object's Cutout Info resource, but it's hard to adjust in manually so that it's perfect I wish there was some tool in S4S that would make it easier

Thank you radykiel that worked! I hadn't ticked off the Cutout Info box when I made my selective clone. I made a temporary new selective clone to generate a Cutout Info resource and copied it into the package via s4pe then just changed the ModelID in the Cutout Info resource and POOF! it works! Thank you so much! Now I just need to do that for each of the objects in the set. :D
