Hello,
I am very new. I just downloaded The Sims 4 Studio today because i wanted to adjust the position of a CC necklace so it will fit my sim and not hover over the important parts ...
I opened the CC necklace in The Sims 4 Studio, exported the mesh, open it in blender, slid it a bit closer to the model and saved. Then I imported the mesh back to The Sims 4 Studio, it looks exactly how I want it there, but when I open my game and try to put it on my sim his whole body (and necklace) is covered in red and white squares with black quesiton marks in the white parts ...
I think I didn't save correctly?
I have been trying around for a couple hours now and I ran into a dead end here .. pls help me make my sim look pretty <3

Hi! If it's a CC, you have to place the original package in Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods if you use windows, then open S4S and select Create 3D Mesh, then you look for the cc necklace in the catalog and repeat the steps you've said above and then place this new saved package in your game mod folder (I'm not sure if you still need to place the original package in there too to make it work).
If it's for personal use it's okay, but if you want to publish it you first have to see if the creator's TOU allows mesh edits.

I will never reupload someone else's CC, believe me, I have been around fandom and creators long enough. But thanks for looking out, creators need all the protection they can get :*
However, I did what you described. I figured out how to make the CC necklace appear in S4S after several tries and googling. My problem was that when I put my .package into the mod folder, then started the game and put the necklace on my sim he would turn into an error message xD but you gave me an idea that i maybe need the original packages in there too .. now it works .. no idea why ... xD
So thanks for making me do that <3
