I just started creating my own CC for the sims 4 and I edited a mesh using blend. After finishing I saved the file and went to upload it to the sims studio and could not get it to open the blend file. the only way for me to get the mesh to work is to apply it to an already existing hair mesh but it then conflicts with it and just adds it on top of the existing hair. is there any way to convert the blend file to a package file so i can open it without having to put it on top of a vanilla hair? What it is supposed to look like The under layer (Sim left side shouldn't exist in the mesh) End result

hi! You need to edit ALL meshgroups. 1, 2, and 3 to match your hair edit.

Hair meshes are made up of three seperate mesh groups, as inabadromance says. This is so that the hair can work with different hats. There will be a full hairstyle and then two with the top half cut off at different angles.
You must always start a new CC project with a "vanilla" item as a base into which you import your mew meshes and textures. This ensures the package is set up correctly and it's also just how Studio works.
You will also need to look at your hair texture. It cannot take up that much space on the UV map. As it is set up right now it will also cover over any textures used on head accessories. The upper right corner cannot be used for hair texture.
