I don't know what I am doing wrong, seemed like I followed the steps right. I have tried all I could and I am just left confused now. I am still new to this so maybe someone here knows what's wrong. Blend filePackage

Make sure you have the correct cut number assigned to the hair. Take a look at THIS and THIS tutorials to know what cut numbers are and how they are applied to hair meshes.

Ok, I added cut numbers and moved the uv at the approximate correct spot just to test it, but it's still not importing. I don't want to use hats with this so I didn't edit the cut meshes to be proper. I tried a bunch of other stuff that I could think of, but it didn't help. New Blend

I have done this over and over again, and it's not working, I made sure that there is nothing different except for the mesh. Are there restrictions for meshes? It feels like the studio doesn't like it.

It must be the mesh, I even tried to append the mesh back from the original and deleting the new one and then it worked. This is really confusing, what's wrong with it?

Hi! The problem isn't the cut numbers anymore (which are perfectly fine right now!) but with the mesh itself (this issue is there from the start, cut numbers have nothing to do with it). Sometimes meshes that aren't from the game, found elsewhere on the internet or sometimes when done from scratch get... borked? So you need to select all in edit mode and " recalculate" from the sidebar. Thing is doing the recalculate on your mesh fixes the import issue, but messes up all the normals making random planes look inwards and others outwards. This makes parts of the mesh transparent since the planes are looking the other way... manually fixing that would be a pain. Unless you take the time to do it. I honestly don't have an easier fix for your mesh but i'm explaining all the problem in case someone else has a better suggestion.

Try selecting the object in Object mode. Press ctrl + a on your keyboard and select apply rotation & scale. If some normals get out of place you should manually fix them. Then import back.

Recalculate worked! Thank you both so much!
