Will the Sims 4 Studio be compatible with Blender 2.80? Please tell me yes. Blender 2.80 is amazing and has many new features for us creators.

I opened a thread right when I heard about this too. I don't know the position of the team about making it compatible with this version, but you can always use it for your general meshing, texturing or animating and then saving the file .blend, use a compatible Blender (like 2.70 or 2.76) as a folder to open the file and set up the Studio's values to import in to the program. People have been doing this from the start if they use another 3d software like Maya, 3ds, etc.
The compatible Blender versions with Studio are just a linker, you can do your work in any other 3d software, that inclues incompatible Blender versions.

Just a heads up, .blend files in 2.8 are not compatible with earlier versions. a 2.8 project file will crash to desktop if you open it in 2.76
Best bet is to spend some time with 2.8 learning all the new features, but wait until it leaves beta for any serious work.

You can't open the .blend but you can still append the meshes inside using the append function in a .blend created with earlier versions. Also you can always export/import as .obj. Although I would just append the mesh to keep it clean.

I really hope so! at least maybe this can be the last compatible blender instead of 2.78.
