Hello there, Something is happening on my end that I don't believe is normal behavior. If I open a CAS item, and change something like a category, upon saving it I get a 1KB file (the original being several hundred KBs).
Right now I was changing a mesh, so I exported it, made my changes and imported it. When I opened the item on the game it was without textures. If I re-open the item on S4Studio, and export and import the texture (without doing anything on them), the texture is now saved on the package, and appears in-game.
What could be causing this?
Many thanks! Edit: It seems that data isn't actually loaded at all. Every single CAS item I load, custom content or not, has a single "CAS Part" item in the warehouse, consisting of a couple hundred bytes. If I proceed to import more data, then it's added to the warehouse. What makes this even more strange is that the mesh and texture appear on the Studio view, even without being at the warehouse.

Bump! Can someone at least confirm if I'm not missing something really obvious? From a couple of tutorials I've seen on this site, I thought this isn't supposed to happen at all, but I'm not sure even on that.

Not 100% sure what you're talking about but when you clone CAS items, the resources aren't duplicated and instead are referenced to the original I believe? Something along those lines, in order to make package sizes smaller.
