so i tried converting a hat from pmd to package, it looks fine on sims 4 studio but when i go to cas this happens: sta.sh/072lpt423hithe body texture kind of overlaps the hat texture?? also it makes all sims who wear it white skinned. files: sta.sh/21e8kzc5o7dq?edit=1

The first major problem is that the full body texture is included with the hat texture. That's why all your Sims that wear it will get the same skin colour. The issue with the clothing texture overlapping is because of where you have mapped it on the UV. You have used the space that gets used for extra bits that belong to tops. You should have it where hat textures go instead. Your Specular and Normal textures both need updating as well because they are still the ones for the baseball cap.

Glad to see you got the skin and mapping issues fixed.
Use the "Make Blank" option on all of your textures apart from the diffuse texture and your problem with the weird shadows will be gone. There is an issue with one of those textures but I'm not sure which it is. I personally think it looks fine without them.
