Hello, everyone! I apologize profusely if this has been already seen; I went through the forum to look for similar problem, but I think mine is sort of unique because I made this item from scratch. I recently just started playing around with Marvelous Designer and Blender. I do have some Photoshop knowledge as well, so I decided to make a sweater for a female in the game. Now, because I'm a complete beginner and even have no idea why I'm doing things I'm doing (lol), I wonder what might have been my problem. After completing everything in MD and Blender, I went to Photoshop to apply some textures onto my sweater, which was supposed to look like this: imgur.com/a/XYCcUHyI thought everything was okay. I learned from this particular tutorial: BUT, unfortunately, when I put the saved package into the game, I see this: imgur.com/a/O97MdCCI'm not sure what the issue is. Did I mess up with UVs or weights, or some other things I don't understand? haha! I don't understand the LODs really well, so I'm not sure how to decimate accordingly, either. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Ola

Hi. It is a matter of textures. Which one? we wouldn't be able to tell without seeing the package, so please share it with us. LODs stands for Level of Details. In CAS or up close on the highest graphic settings the game displays LOD0 meshes, but when you lower them or zoom out, it switches to meshes of lower quality (LOD1-LOD3) to render things faster. Uv_0 map projects a texture on a 3D mesh surface, a uv_1 map defines how the mesh will deform in the process of adjusting body parameters in CAS. Weights dictate how much influence every bone of the rig (sceleton) has over certain parts of the mesh. Basically, this is what makes the mesh follow rig's movements(which is what is being animated).

So it's not that. Thank you! Great to hear that it might only be a matter of textures. Here's the package! drive.google.com/open?id=1oZ6SpKwFioBJQKigdZOv9o6XGswUPZrP

The wrong color is assigned in Vertex Paint. 1). Switch Shading to Bounding box; 2). Enable Face selection masking for painting and press A to select everything; 3). Click on the white color and pick a dropper; 4). Sample this bright green color; 5). Paint - Set vertex colors to flood everything with it; 6). Switch Shading back to Textured or Solid. You need to delete the parts of the body that are covered by the fabric; 1). Turn on sync; 2). Switch to face select; 3). Disable Limit selection to visible; 4). Select all uv islands of your top by lasso-selecting( hold Ctrl LMB ) corresponding areas on the mesh. Avoid selecting any body part. 5). Select - Linked to select the rest of them; 6). Press P - Selection to separate the top; 1). select the body and press A to select everything; 2). Ctrl Shift deselect areas that are not covered by the top; 3). In UV Editor deselect a couple of faces to make the selection nicer; 4). Press Delete and choose faces; Your top does not have a uv_1 map. You combined it with the body which had a uv_1, but the top itself does not have one. Explained how to do it here from 00:00 to 3:30; Once done, combine everything back with Ctrl J and save. As for textures, its most likely a matter of specular map. Try fixing aforementioned issues and then if your mesh is also purple, open both specular files and put ( in both files) a tiny white dot at the corner somewhere and save.

Wow, such a detailed description! Thank you SO much for addressing it! You spent so much time detailing this post! It's greatly appreciated! I'm still completely new to this, so I'm not sure how long it'll take me to fix this, but I'll try to figure it out as in your tutorial. Thank you again! I'm in the process of trying to understand everything; I've been watching videos, reading tutorials, etc., but a lot of terminology is still a great mystery to me, haha. This is actually more complicated than I anticipated, but I guess this was to be expected. Nonetheless, the outcomes are worth it.
