As the topic title says, I'm currently looking for an extensive tutorial regarding animations for lip syncing and other facial expressions. I've looked into the Creators Help Section before, but unfortunately, none of them have any detailed explanations in how to move the facial bones like the lips or autobanned's tongue for example.
I'm looking forward to it if anyone comes across a tutorial which covers in how to make facial poses for talking or singing animations.

hi! I don't know about that tongue you mention, but if it's not by manually doing it then I suggest using EA's poses and copying each frame over to yours.

Tongue in Sims 4 is not rigged separately, there is no way to pose the tongue. You can find some videos on youtube. Also check this channel. This user released a few really good videos.

hi! I don't know about that tongue you mention, but if it's not by manually doing it then I suggest using EA's poses and copying each frame over to yours. Oops, sorry for not clarifying earlier, what I meant by tongue animations is that there's that custom rig (and accessory) for the animated tongue on autobanned's tumblr page: "https://autobanned.tumblr.com/"
And one specific thread on Loverslab (I'm not sure if I can post the link to it, as loverslab has NSFW content on it, even though that thread about tongue animations seems to be safe from adult content). Tongue in Sims 4 is not rigged separately, there is no way to pose the tongue. You can find some videos on youtube. Also check this channel. This user released a few really good videos. Thanks for the suggestion! Even though I knew about the channel already, I'll probably take a deeper look into her videos! (Though sadly, it seems that Mia still seems to be on a long break, so it might not be updated regularly)

If this is specifically asking on how to work with that particular custom rig and cc then i'd suggest asking on the original's creator page rather than here.
