So I did my first Sims 3 to Sims 4 object conversion and that worked great. Loaded game and I noticed it took a lot longer to load than it did before I placed my object in my mods folder. I have had this happen with other peoples objects as we. What would cause something that is low poly to lag the game on load. Not just my own creations but others as well. Would using the same blender file for all 3 LODs cause that?

There are a lot of cases (of CC that is either corrupted, mods that are outdated etc.) that can cause long/infinite loading screens. A general rule of thumb is that the more CC and mods you have the longer the loading time will take. Also objects with EXTREMELY high polycounts (like 30k etc.) can TREMENDOUSLY slow down the game.
Of course that's considering your system can handle TS4, under a normal vanilla configuration.

So then there should have been no reason a little conversion caused my game to take a long time to load? It wasn't corrupt that I know of. I followed the instructions to a tee when I converted it except for having to use the same blend file for all 3 lods. The poly count was around 2k. That why it sort of shocked me I had such a long load time. It was just a simple table.
