Some Custom Content turns blue when placed.

I downloaded some custom content from the internet and most of it is fine but there are just a few things, by the same 'Maxims' where as soon as I place, say a picture, it all turns this weird blue? It stays even when I start playing with the sims. I placed a bed and only the bed framed turned blue and the bedding was fine? I can't fine any answers on the internet. Some of their stuff is fine but there are some and it is only with them that they turn blue.
