So, not sure what the (removed) EA was thinking when they made this game and had so much movement with their modeling mechanics in the Create A Sim menu, but this irritated me since day one that the damn Sims won't keep their (removed) still and shut up so I can get their bodies the right shape and what not. My solution use to be this mod that would make the Vampires and the regular Sims stand still while being edited/created in CAS. Unfortunately, I had uninstalled the Sims 4 for a hard clean, but turns out since the last update, the mod I had used to keep these (removed) sims still when creating them no longer works and some versions of it will actually crash my game. Little help please? Here is the link to the last upload of this mod I had used: simfileshare.net/folder/11568/Moderator edit: removed sanguinary language

Cursing firetruck language in a public T-rated forum is not wanted and wont help you either. Your link to simfileshare is down.
I have the Mod - Vamire_StandStill_InCAS_fix_GP04 in my game and it still works for me.
Sorry, just kind of irritated. Also running on E here because I have not got any sleep yet.

Btw there is a workaround in case you still need it, that doesn't require any mods. There is a cheat in the game that controls the time speed of the CAS clock -> casclockspeed 1 1 is the default speed value so you can adjust it to your liking. By making it 0 it will completely stop any movement.

It will completely stop all animations the sim won't move even if you choose a walkstyle, trait etc. However, be aware that the position the sim will stay "frozen" in, will depend on when you activate the cheat. So if you activate it while your sim is walking they will stay frozen in a walking pose.
What I do, is go into the "face detail" mode while making my sim put the cheat in and my sim will stay frozen, in a natural, basic standing pose until I revert the speed again. Gets the job done without mods, plus gives you more control over the speed!

Hmmmm. I use this mod too and mine still works from when I was last in-game, but an updated one to be safe would be nice. Let me look into it and see what I can do. I'm a newbie to modding/creating but interested in learning, and can't promise anything, but I'm going to look regardless. xD

You can still try though if you want to update the mod I use, I wish you luck in learning how to mod like a pro! All it takes is a little determination and a lot of dedication usually to learn something. Also YouTube videos would be helpful to help you excel faster.

I didn't update Klepto's, but I did update the very first mod of this type from Shimrod101 that I had been using since the beginning (working mostly, but old as heck and doesn't support toddlers or vamps). I had taken a look at Klepto's and Shook's when I started, but both were using something that I had zero clue how to alter. Thinking back on it (and checking just now), it seems they were altering the actual clips themselves, or at least overriding them with their own custom clip, but either way I don't know how to alter that stuff yet. After just testing Klepto's in-game, I personally think Shimrod's method was the best one. His turns off Fit/Fat and Styled Reactions, and uses the animation from Edit Detail Mode so they don't look so robotic. The eyes still move around and blink like Edit Detail, but that's pretty much it for any possible downsides (I don't think it is one, but each person is different). Anyways, I'll finish adding toddlers and vampires, upload to MTS, then link it here if you'd like to use it or in-case anyone else stops by. Sorry I couldn't fix Klepto's!
