So I've tried downloading both the zip and the installer from the website through chrome. Bitdefender wants to block s4s but I added it as an exception (both the .exe and the desktop icon). Now, it just won't open. The mouse does the blue circular loading for about 2 seconds, my laptop seems to be louder, and then nothing happens. Please help!

Hi bveiia , Welcome to Sims 4 Studio forums! What version of Windows are you running? I don't have as much experience trying the installer but for the zip file what folder did you extract the zip into? A good place to put it is the my documents folder. If you visit that location using Windows Explorer and check the files some of them should have newer dates on them matching the time that you tried to run the program. If you're not seeing files change like that then your start-up of the program may be blocked by being in a location that's only accessible to your administrator account on your computer, or (less likely) your antivirus. It might be helpful to have some screenshots of what you're seeing. Can you post some to a site like Imgur and link to them here? |
