Im following this (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ONDp8F8rDO3djFHG0j3YVIovgM1A1WXzOGkmavQxnQA/edit#) guide to creating a top, and things are going well until i get to the uv mapping stage. not even the arms fit on top of the template and i have no idea if I can even fix it without starting over. heres the window

I stitched the clothes in marvelous designer, then in blender 2.70a windows 64 version I added solidify and decimate modifiers(and maybe subdivision ??), deleted mesh under the top and closed the holes(its all outlined in the tutorial I followed). but for some reason not even the arms align to the texture, and I dont know how to resize uv maps to get the shirt to fit either. what can I do?
edit: i used a sims 4 model from here, the sims4studio forum, if that makes any difference. also, heres the dropbox link to the blender file.
