Hi, guys.

Would anyone happened to know what's causing these issues?

This is what my mesh looks like in Blender and S4S:

And this is what it looks like in the game:

The back part is lighter right along the borders of those UV islands. There are also dark spots where the ankle bones start on both feet.

What I've tried to remove the back part issue:

- tried different skins and skintones;

- removed all clothing;

- exported all maps, put a tiny dot in the corner on each ( just in case the game cannot read empty files ), imported back;

- split the mesh along the border of UV islands;

- assigned swatch thumbnails;

- reinstalled the latest version of Wishes and remade the package;

- deleted b__R_ShoulderTwist__ which, for some reason, was in the original mesh for FEET;

- imported this mesh in my previous shoes that did not have this problem;

- cloned a different mesh.

What I've tried to remove the dark spots:

- subdivided these areas and smoothed them;

- changed topology in these areas;

- manually triangulated faces in these areas.

None of these things changed anything.

I also tried importing wireframe texture to see if the file is being updated at all and it is.

I'm using Windows 10 and S4S Wishes 3.1.2.2

Not subdivided, not triangulated, not split along the border edges, with b__R_ShoulderTwist__, started from nude feet, with original textures, has wireframe on the second swatch.

Hi Mauve, I'm not sure why this is happening but when I open your .blend file I see this:

As you can see, the seam is also notizable in Blender. What I did, is go to edit mode, select all, press CTRL+E and choose clear sharp. Then select all again and remove doubles. Save and Import again. After doing that the .blend file looks like this:

And finally, in game (I also enabled the feminine tag since it was missing, as well as remove the style tags so random sims cannot wear it, not related to the issue though):

Also, if you need sharp edges at the nails part add them later spliting the edges. For some reason marking the side part as sharp is not giving a good result. If you need guide to unwrap you should mark them as seams and not sharp.

Just wanted to say about marking and clearing edges. This action (don't know how to call it) works only in Blender, it is for visualizing an object particularly in Blender. If someone wants sharp edges in the game, they need to split those edges.

Tip regarding spotting undesirable visual effects in Blender. You can spot them by going into solid view mode. If you see creases and lines, they will be visible in the game. Before importing mesh in Studio it's better to remove doubles on the sides (after unwrapping uv_1). Studio will split edges where they need to split without creating this effect. I suspect that if you import clothing mesh that has split edges, Studio splits them twice since it is coded to split edges in particular locations (on the sides, and on the back).

Yeah, I thought sharp edges work only in Blender and do not affect the way the mesh looks in the game, so I marked them for convinience ( of selecting them again fast ). Didn't know s4s splits them automatically.
I removed them but, unfortunately, it did not resolve the problem for me, which leads me to believe that maybe this is a problem with my graphic card or the game. Even removed the background color in CAS, but nope
Anyway, thank you guys very much!! Hope it won't happen for other people.

I can't check them right now what they look like in my game, but if this light line gets highlighted when you click on the foot, then you need to move uv_1 a tiny bit. Highlighted line indicates that uv_1 exceeds uv mapping area and needs to be scaled 1mm by X axis.
