I tried the transparency tutorial, but it just outright didn't work. I assume the shader is not compatible with it. So I set the shader to "plumbob" thinking that might at least make it a shiny glass material, buuuut all that does is make them brighter and spin in place, which is honestly a really neat effect, but not what I'm going for. www.reddit.com/r/Sims4/comments/auth0l/i_tried_to_make_crystals_look_shinier_or/

Welcome to sims4studio.com! I'm not knowledgeable in using the glass effects for Sims 4 objects (others on here are), but it's great that you found a new animation source I didn't know about, the plumbob!

Honestly even though it's not what I was going for I might make one of these overrides for each crystal (you only need to do it to one for it to apply to all of the same mesh, so it'd take a few minutes) because the spinning effect is pretty neat for display shelves i think

Try adding a glass shader then playing with the spec in a dark grey to get a real high shine. To make them transparent you need to lower the amount of opacity on your texture.
