hi! you don't save directly to the game's mod folder. save it somewhere else and then move the files to your mods.

I've changed the filepath for the "Documents Folder" however I am still encountering the same annoying problem. I have followed step by step on creating and saving poses and I can't for the life of me figure out why it's giving me this error message. ;-|

you don't have to edit nothing from the path screen. that's where the program takes all the information from the game. please read this guide: sims4studio.com/thread/14962/s4s-paths-guide. if I understand correctly, your issue is another one, the error says you're trying to save your package directly from S4S to your mods folder. and you CAN'T DO THAT, period. please do as I suggested on my last post.

I am not trying to save it on the mods folder. It won't let me select a folder to save it to. When I click save I get an error message. This is my first time using s4s and I assumed that perhaps it would be automatically saved to the mods folder. However I have not selected a place to save it.
Steps used are as follow:
The pose was created on blender and then it was saved to a unique folder. I went to s4s and clicked on animation, enter pose name. enter pose info under pose pack tab, imported the blender file under the clips tab and enter the pose information still while on the clips pack. then I created an icon (64 x 64) and imported the icon image under the pose pack tab. Then I click on save and it gives me the error message (unable to save in your game folder)

Yes I read it, but my Sims 4 is in my D:// drive. Should I input the (standard) file path even if my game isn't there?

the game should be in that path if you've used origin to download it.
the documents path is wrong as well.

Your game and the S4S program have to point to the same location. Right now, with some in C: drive, and some in D: drive, it's like trying to cook dinner when your food is located at your neighbor's house.

Hi there,
I just took a look at your problem, and only thing i could find that is off, is your documents path, the "Mods" folder should not be included.
For your other paths, PC technical, no it should not be an issue by installing it on your D drive. All that matters that you have pointed everything out to the right paths. But with that said, i do not know how Sims4Studio response to this is, it might just like tigger said, which in all my years on the pc, seems very unlikely unless it's hard coded into the s4s code itself.
Also to cover everything, do u use a illegal version of the Sims 4? (with that i mean: did u use origin to install it or not).

Hi ! I'm new to this forum and i downloaded S4S some hours ago. I've already encountered some issues* but i solved most of them... Still... Meanwhile i can create any new package S4S won't let me save any ! "Unable to save in your game folder." is the message it keeps telling me reluctantly. Never could i save ONCE :( I checked paths since i already got other issues there and they seem OK : As you can tell i'm playing TS4 via Steam on Win10. This happens even when i create a fresh new package by clicking on "Object" > Choose object and go Next > Save. *I had issues coz lacking the "\" in my folder paths after changing language to French. S4S was loading packages but i only got "Warehouse" opened and thus available - no more Studio nor any tab at all. When selecting paths S4S was not including the last "\" each time i selected folder. I had to do it manually in the Settings file. I tried switching back to english after fixing this issue to see if S4S would finally save something but still it didn't. HELP :(
