Hoping this is the right place to be asking this. I've been looking into making sled dog harnesses and booties for a play through I'm doing, but I've never been all that adept with Blender (I know how to do things on that program, but I'm bad at using it to create meshes). However, I'm relatively competent with Marvelous Designer. Problem is, I can't find any sort of Sims 4 large dog avatar to use in MD, and all of my attempts to port over the S4S large dog model have ended with MD crashing (after following many tutorials on the subject online). I've looked everywhere for a possible substitute, and have tried countless non-sims dog models in MD only to result in program-breaking glitches.
So I was wondering if anyone here either knows how to bring over the canine model into MD, or has access to one. I'd really like to get this project started and have some good sled dog accessories within my game, and I know how to do everything other than find the actual model to use. Fingers crossed that this can be done!
Thank you.

There are three different, posed, full Large Dog meshes in Debug. Search for "Ref_LargeDog" and you will find them. they export great, and should be exactly what you are looking for...
Cheers.

Hey,
so sorry to be pulling up this almost 5yo-thread but this is the closest I've come to fixing my problem.
When I try importing the afore mentioned "Ref_LargeDog" it does not show up at all in MD. When I import a nude mesh from the CAS-section it seemingly breaks MD by making it unscrollable and showing the dog very tiny.
Does anyone have working a working solution?
Thanks in advance. <3

- clone a lingerie set ( in your case, a dog ), export the blend, open it; - expand the rig, make all parts you need selectable (cursor icon); - in 3d view hold Shift and select all parts you need; - File - Export - Wavefront (obj); - enable Selected only; - open your scene in MD, File - Open - Avatar, set it up like this. Make sure to choose M ( meters), not anything else
