HELP! I used to create CC way back in Sims2 and early Sims3, but I have totally forgotten everything. I'm using S4S v3.1.2.4 (Wishes). I've followed Orangemittens' tutorial (used photoshop for the .png filessand created a standalone floor (I even changed the string tables to fix the in game text after the update on 04/16). The thumbnail and description show up great, but when I try to place the floor in the game, I get a 4 square red/purple question mark floor. IDK what I've done wrong. I'm an intelligent person, but this has me feeling like a total newb! Can anyone help me?  |

The question mark texture means that the package uses data that doesn't exist (I think?). I think this means your texture is missing (or perhaps your specular or normal). Try re-importing your textures, or just starting over with a new .package, if it still doesn't work, can you share your .package file here please  |

This missing texture icon also shows if the texture is wrong size. It needs to be in powers of 2 for the game to read it. 256x256, 512x512, etc.

Even though I resized my texture file, for some reason it wasn't saving as 512x512, so I resized it in a different software and it works. Yay! Thank you so much!!!! |
