Can someone explain in the simplest possible way, as if I was actually five years old, how to make a pose work? I've watched and read so many tutorials, and it just doesn't seem to work. Either I can't understand what they're even trying to say or show, or it just doesn't work right in blender. Part of the problem, I think, is that I'm using a mac so some of the commands are just different.
Right now I'm trying to make this thing work. It's just four couple poses.
I realize, logically, that if I want to learn how to poses I should probably start with simple, solo poses. But I've tried that, too, and it doesn't seem to work out for the same reasons. I don't have any issues posing the sims in blender, but once I try to do that timeline poo, or locrot, or anything involved with that, it just doesn't work. And I have no idea why. I've followed along to so many tutorials, all saying to do the same steps, and it never works. I know I must be doing something horribly wrong, but I have no idea how to identify what it is I'm doing. Are there any super, SUPER simple tutorials anyone knows of? I want to be able to do this stuff for myself and make poses I can upload, but I just... can't... do this. And it should be simple, but I can't.
Here's what I'm doing with this one. I can do the whole separate the rigs thing, I know how to get that far. The timeline is where it seems to go to poo. I've had instances where I follow the tutorials, and it SEEMS like it went right, but then it just doesn't work in game. I want to be able to make these poses work, and maybe even get a little fancy and do that "all poses in one" thing that a lot of pose packs have. If anyone could explain how I could get one of these poses to work, or link a really simple tutorial, that would be incredibly helpful. I'm sorry there's so much text in this. I have a headache from this posing stuff.
