I was going to try and find a way to edit an existing CC top for my personal game, but I can't find a way to have my custom content show up in any of the CAS options.
I saw that you needed a mods folder in the Sims 4 Studio folder for something, so I made my own and copied some test CC into the folder I made, but that didn't work either.
My CC shows up when I select "My CC", but that's it. Is there any way I can get this to work?

Hello dullmeme, To get your own CC to appear in Studio, go to your Documents folder and search for a folder called Sims 4 Studio. In there, you will find a folder called Mods. (C:\UserName\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods) Every mod you place in there, will appear in Studio when you use the "Content" drop down menu to change it to Custom. Be sure to open the Sims 4 Studio folder and not The Sims 4 folder inside the Electronic Arts folder.

Thank you so much for the help!

I have doubled and tripled checked to make sure I'm in the right folder I am. It's just not showing up.i have currently 3.1.4.1 wishes installed. I have rechecked all my paths to make sure they are correct. I'm at a loss at what else to do. Thanks for the help.

Yes, I don't have one drive one laptop. Hi. Add s4s folder to the exceptions in your antivirus (google “how to add exception in (the name of your antivirus)”), it can block the software from reaching those files

Nothing shows up in my S4S mods folder either. And I don't have an "antivirus" program to search for, I'm on a Mac.

Nothing is meant to show up in your s4s folder. - find the original package in your \Documents\ Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods, right click on it and choose copy; - go into \Documents\ Sims 4 Studio\Mods, paste the file there; - close s4s if it was opened; - open s4s again; - choose Create CAS Standalone[/b]; - filter Content by Custom; - select the custom package, save it in \Documents\ Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder.

ummm hi umm i need help to put my mod that i made in my fils could anyone help me pls and thx u Hi. To appear in-game, your mod goes in \Documents\Electronic arts\The sims 4\Mods to appear in s4s catalog, it goes into \Documents\Sims 4 studio\Mods If it already is in the right location, please make your own thread and describe the issue in greater details, provide the package as well
