Good evening,
Today I took my first shot at modding. I converted the Driving Range Golf Tee from Sims 3 to Sims 4. I can place it as an object, but it does not function. Does anybody have any idea how I might go about doing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Well you certainly decided to dive into the deep end of modding to start with.
Anything that requires new animations is extremely difficult which is why you don't see much CC out there that uses them. Add to that the use of accessories (the golf club) and things get even more complicated.
You're going to need to create or convert an animation that specifically meets the requirements and file structure of TS4 as well as create new tuning so that the game knows how the object should behave as well as how to use the animations.
If you want it to also keep track of scores like the original then that's just adding another layer of complexity to an already complex task.
Necrodog is probably the best person to look up for working with TS4 animations.

Yea. I was just trying to think of something to convert that has not been converted already, as well as make a name for myself. LOL. I thought of Necrodog and his mods. I just might try to contact him. Would love to learn this because there isn't much functional cc out there and I know it can be done. Thank you for your reply.
